Paddy Spink
Paddy Spink has over 40 years experience in the oil and gas industry. He joined Carlyle in 2012 as a senior advisor and operating executive and represents Carlyle on a number of portfolio company boards as well as providing advisory services mainly focused on Carlyle’s upstream activities.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Paddy spent nearly 25 years with Perenco in roles in exploration, subsidiary manager and latterly in business development. He was also a member of Perenco’s Executive Committee which oversaw the running of the Perenco group.
In his early career Paddy fulfilled a variety of geological and petroleum engineering roles with Deminex, Elf Aquitaine and Shell.
Paddy is a graduate in Environmental Sciences from the University of Lancaster.
