Tunis • 01-07-2025

As part of its decarbonization strategy, Mazarine Energy Tunisia is proud to announce that it has been awarded a 2MWp solar project by the Tunisian government in the Kebili Governorate.

The award was officially granted in June 2025 by Minister of Industry, Mines and Energy, Mrs. Fatma Thabet Chiboub, as part of the fifth round of national solar tendering. Mazarine Energy will be responsible for the design, development, and operation of the solar plant, which will be located in the El Faouar delegation, just a few kilometers from Company Ghrib concession.

Once operational, the project is expected to reduce Tunisia’s carbon footprint by 2,000 tons of CO₂ annually, contributing to the country’s energy transition and sustainability goals.
