Mazarine Energy steps into Renewable Energy with award of 10MWp Solar Project in Tunisia

Mazarine Energy has been selected by the Tunisian government to develop a 10MWp solar project in the third round of solar tendering. Technical and commercial offers for the construction and operating of a solar farm in the Kasserine Governorate were submitted to the Ministry in January 2020.

Mazarine Energy was officially awarded a project in June 2020 by Mr. Mongi Marzouk, the Minister of Energy, Mines and Energy Transition.

“We are proud to be awarded our first solar project in Tunisia, as we continue to contribute to Tunisia’s energy development and sustainable transition goals”, said Edward van Kersbergen, CEO of Mazarine Energy.
